How can I contribute to the content of this website?
Contributions can take several forms:

1) You can be an active in the Forums, both asking and answering questions.

2) You can submit content for inclusion in the Information Guide. Any information that could be useful to residents or visitors of Shizuoka prefecture is welcomed.

3) You can event comment on the information listings. Want to do a review of that place in the listings? Just go to that page and do it! Want to do a review of a place not in the listings? First submit it to the listings. Once included, you can comment on it.

Our success depends on meaningful contributions by our members.
Is it possible to become a moderator of one of the forums?
Absolutely!

As Shizuoka Echo grows, there will be a need for more help with administrative duties, including moderation of the forums. Generally, such duties are delegated on the basis of past contributions to Shizuoka Echo.

There is no Financial reward for such duties. The various administrative duties of Shizuoka Echo are done strickly on a volunteer basis.

Can start my own forum?
Yes, you can!.

We have the ability of creating both public and private.

Public forums must follow the general policies of the site regarding acceptable content. Enforcing those policies are the respnsibility of the moderators.

Private forums restrict access to selected members. For example, if you have an team, organization or club and need a non-public forum where members can discuss relevent issues, then a private forum may be just what you need.

Private forums are invisible to all except invited members.
