Did you know that some Shizuoka Echo forums are hidden? That is because Shizuoka Echo hosts private forums for organizations within the prefecture.

If you have a club, special interest group, sports team or whatever, and you need a place where your members can meet and exchange messages, why not start your own forum?

Making your forum public allows you to build your membership from Shizuoka Echo visitors who stumble onto your forum. Private forums are \"Members Only\", allowing your group the freedom to discuss issues that are only relevant to the group. The choice of private or public forum is up to you.

The only conditions are that a) your group has a Shizuoka context and b) that at least one person is willing to stand as Moderator of that forum, to maintain community standards set by Shizuoka Echo.

The forum can usually be set up the same day. Your members will have to register with Shizuoka Echo first and, in the case of a private forum, the forum moderator (probably you) will have to approve each member's access in the forum.
