Shizuoka Matsuri Hi folks.
You probably can't walk through Shizuoka these days without noticing the big festival going on in the streets and in Sunpu Park. What part of it do you enjoy especially? Or do you rather prefer to "escape" for a few days?  Here is a collection of pictures I took last year. I loved the beautiful costumes, dances and the sound of taiko drums under the cherry blossoms. Re: Shizuoka Matsuri I always say you can't do much wrong with such settings. But of all my pictures I like the matsuri ones the best. Results of quite a few "sumimasen"s and stepping on people's feet. ^^
